I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago, when it was springtime in January. I thought they would be a nice addition to my studio photo collection, considering I use nature just as much as my art table to motivate me. Sometimes when I get stuck, I like to go outside and get fresh air, and clear my head. The day I took these pictures, it was so sunny and beautiful out I thought how unlike winter it really is…and how inspiring a warm winter month can be.

I literally have piles of new artwork sitting around, that needs to be posted. I also have to upload pics of the sketchbook. I started a new healthy art journal, and I have been busy busy busy! I am also in the middle of a new series, so look out for that. If you are too curious for your own good…I post “in studio” and “work in progress” shots on my other tumblr and I tweet what’s going on at the art table.
