Erin from art-is-try artistry participated in a project on Facebook a while back to motivate art-making and corresponding. For some reason people didn’t really like the idea or chose not to participate. Over many emails and blog comments back and forth we have finally started a new one! I told Erin that I didn’t have facebook, only my nifty little blog, and she agreed to work out a deal where participants can leave comments to enter. I am so glad she did, because I can’t wait to get started! Here is how it works:

1. If you would like to participate, please leave a comment below this post. No reblogs, or likes. You must leave me an actual comment on my blog page, so leave your dashboard if you are signed into tumblr. The first three people to respond and show commitment to the project will receive a handmade gift from me!!!
2. Post this project on your own blog—feel free to cut n’ paste. Gather three new participants and be willing / prepared to follow through with the “Pay It Forward” part!!! Please link back to this original post: (“JOIN THE FUN! Pay It Foward 2012”) and I, in turn, will include a link to your post so that we can follow the project from its origin.
3. I will give you a (small, simple, heartfelt) handmade gift. Make sure to email me your full name and address. In turn, give (small, simple, heartfelt) handmade gifts to your participants, and let the joy grow exponentially!!!
4. *NOTE*-any and all handmade gifts are okay! We are trying to keep them small, and heartfelt. A small painting, poem, collage, etc, but with a touch of your own personal heart and creative side! I also haven’t put a time limit on my post, but I would hope they would all be made/given in a timely matter. As long as you make some kind of agreement with your gift-receivers, your deadline should be up to you…  
   

So! for those of you that are still a bit confused. I commented on Erin’s blog, so I get a gift from her. I posted the project on my blog so I am waiting for 3 comments. When I get them, I will send 3 gifts. Those people will send out 3 gifts of their own! Get it? got it?
