Bill Murray is a cyclops!

Ahh, I can’t help myself. I have been so inspired lately and making more art is always a good thing. The photos above are 4 of the most recent pages of the new year sketchbook I started. Unlike the black & white book, this one is a free-for-all. I also found the urge to archive each page as I go. I won’t be posting them all on here but you can see the pages uploaded daily on flickr. I have found myself using a lot of orange. I recently did a piece called Everlasting Gobstoppers for the Strathmore Workshop I am taking, and got plenty of good feedback on it just because it was orange! I have so much artwork, I feel like I have been hit with the Art Charm and life is so good I can’t help but share it with the world. Sorry, I get so maternal about art and teaching and blogging… 

Sam inspired me by starting a 366 photo project, so I started a new flickr set for that too. I know, I know, you can’t keep up. I suggest you find a way to enjoy life, learn more about art, and drink a beer every now and then! I get so many questions about where I work, what my art table looks like, how many projects am I working on…well that is what the Art Studio 366 set is for. I am even going to include a neat little story for some every once in a while, so you are welcome for that too. ha!
