Apollo Kids Live has been doing a fine job of DIY business lately. The new site is filled with education to change a nation and plenty of great photos, links, and new music. I recently had a craving to do some ATCs, or Art Trading Cards. I did four mixed media collages for Apollo Kids Live, and now they are part of their permanent collection. 

The cool thing about ATCs is the more freedom you give yourself to create, the better the outcome. The only limit I set for myself was to use the color red, the letter A, and lots of perpendicular lines. I did all of them simultaneously so I didn’t have one look too different than the rest. In my opinion, “collage” ATCs should be able to be be viewed in any way. They should equally appealing horizontally or vertically. Of course, the single best thing about them is if they aren’t what you like, you can always cut them up and make brand new ones with collage pieces! (the photos are big, so please let them load)
