Two years ago, in a little condo by the ocean, I decided that I was going to start a blog. I had an online journal years ago, but never just to talk about my art and creative life. After long thoughts and short talks, I decided that I would finally start posting my works in progress and write about my artistic self. I vividly remember drinking beer and listening to Stevie Nicks the day I created Bad Jones Rising. I was feeling carefree and adventurous.
Now, after many moves across the endless Internet sea, I have finally found a place to rest. I am very proud and honored to show you my most recent works, works in progress, and other bits of my creative days. Finally, I can take it a bit easy on my online adventures and really focus on uploading new work as soon as it’s done. I also am happy to announce new items in the store regularly, an on-going links list, and plenty of updates about my crazy artist life.
Although I no longer live in that little condo by the beach, I still listen Stevie Nicks while drinking beer. I have been dividing my time between my studio in Brooklyn, and my two homes in Harlem and down on the Eastern Shore. It’s funny, I am a nomad in life and on the Internet! But no more! With the new site, I am going to work on putting a little more of myself out there, letting you in on what makes me the Bad Jones Rising you have all come to know and love. If you don’t know me, I look forward to shedding light on how wonderful it is to live creatively!
